Message From Executive Director

We are glad that you are interested in finding out more about Round Rock Housing Authority. Round Rock Housing Authority(RRHA) has been in existence for over fifty years and is the primary affordable housing provider in Round Rock.

Funding is provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. There are four housing authorities (Round Rock, Georgetown, Taylor, and Granger) in Williamson County, over four hundred housing authorities in Texas, and more than three thousand in the United States.

RRHA administers two programs. Public Housing, Through which we own one hundred units at three different sites in Round Rock. The second is the Housing Choice Voucher Program where we provide rental assistance to families, and they rent from local landlords.

With the continued growth in our area and rents continuing to rise our waiting list for housing are quite long. therefore, RRHA is always looking for ways to increase the availability of affordable housing in our community.

RRHA recently applied to HUD to convert our public housing into RAD (Rental Assistance Demonstration) units. This will allow us to renovate our housing units.
