Round Rock Housing Authority is committed to ensuring a safe, healthy environment for all residents and staff. To comply with the public health officials request, that the public remain at home to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will continue to keep our office close effective Monday, July 6, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. until further notice.

We appreciate everyone understanding during these trying times. If you should have an emergency request for maintenance only, please contact our office at (512) 652-6289. We will then determine what action will be taken.

Examples of emergency maintenance requests are as follows:

  • Major Water Leak (not dripping water)
  • Refrigerator/Stove Stops Working
  • Stopped up Sewage or Toilets
  • Emergency Electrical Issues
  • Major Leak from Hot Water Heater

Lockouts are not considered emergencies, since all apartments have deadbolt locks and require that they be locked by key. Loosing keys and being locked out is not an emergency. You will be responsible for keeping your keys safe or calling a locksmith at your expense to unlock the door.

Rents should be placed in the drop box (left of front door of office) no later than the 6th of the month as always required.

We encourage residents to take responsibility for themselves and their families, just as we have advised our staff. In the event of an emergency, please call local law enforcement or fire officials. Please also continue to monitor the news for updates. We hope everyone stays safe and healthy.

Health officials are currently taking steps to prevent the introduction and spread of COVID-19 (“Coronavirus”) into communities across the United States. Housing providers, including organizations that run continuum of care and shelters, as well as the general public, can play an important role in this effort.

Through collaboration and coordination with State and local health departments, housing providers can disseminate critical information and prepare to take additional steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19, should State and local health officials identify such a need.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) offers the most up-to-date information on COVID-19. For updates from CDC, please visit the Coronavirus website.

Everyone should continue promoting everyday disease prevention strategies:

  • If you are sick, stay home from work or school.
  • Avoid close contact with those who are already sick.
  • Cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing with a tissue or the crook of your arm.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water.
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth.
